BOARD MEMBERS

Johan Obdola, from the depth of the Venezuelan Jungles to the world; a life dedicated to the fight against narco-terrorism, terrorism and transnational crime.

To successfully fight against illegal drugs, and narco-terrorism is the aim that Johan Obdola wants to reach. The problem of drug is not simple as it touches economic, political and social fields. It is impossible to put an end to the “cartels”, if there is no true political will and a collaboration between countries. Failing to protect our nations means living in extremely challenging and unsafe communities as we see in many nations…

“It’s surprising to see this man talking with such a conviction of what he did he dedicated his life to the flight against illegal drugs and crime. What to add, he is just amazing for his courage and his modesty, i really want underline this character who is for me the symbol of the modern hero”.

The Committee of Women in Security and Intelligence - CWSI

The Committee of Women in Security and Intelligence of IOSI is aiming to empower young professional women to join, learn, exchange ideas, share knowledge, and to develop theoretical initiatives regarding best practices in security and intelligence.

The initial objectives of the CWSI:

The initial objectives of the committee are, but not limited to discussing, developing, and promoting security and intelligence initiatives. Also, the intention is to create awareness about current trends and issues in the field.

We aim to foster such an environment by providing seminars, webinars, conferences, workshops, and training in this one-stop shop not-for-profit organization. Participation in international and local events will be discussed and approved in the committee.

The benefits for members of the CWSI:

  • Professional learning through constant participation with respected professionals in the field.
  • Leadership development and in-depth access to current security and intelligence topics.
  • Expansion of your professional networks.

The leading topic in the CWSI:

The Committee of Women in Security and Intelligence of IOSI will be focusing on Gender-Based Violence (Violence Against Women and Girls) as the leading topic of discussion for 2021. Considering the ever-growing situation on this matter, it is timely to mainly focus on this subject; violence against women and girls continues to be one of the most pervasive manifestations of discrimination and violations of human rights.

The Committee of Women in Security and Intelligence of IOSI (CWSI), alongside with a helping hand of technology, will aim to bring progress and solutions, on any scale, to combat Gender-Based Violence. This issue should be considered a global pandemic given that it affects 1 out of 3 women in their lifetime.

MODERN PROBLEMS REQUIRE MODERN SOLUTIONS

WHO WE ARE:

The Global Organization for Security and Intelligence – IOSI.

An independent not-for-profit organization with global reach, counting with a robust network of renowned experts in security and intelligence.

WHAT WE ARE:

Above all, we are goal-oriented and transparent in the deliverance of our proofs of concept. Our originality lies on IOSI’s Global Projects which contribute to the never-ending journey of building a better society.

OUR 2021 GLOBAL PROJECTS:

  • NarcoImpact
  • Human Trafficking
  • Gender-Based Violence
  • eVenezuela / eGovernance

OUR HOW:

We are launching a human-driven platform for intelligence sharing. Security is our bedrock, and correspondents our kindred. IOSI Global Projects depend on intelligence sharing from individuals who understand what it takes to secure the evolution of our society and future.

  • How we are financed:

We stay politically independent because we count with the financial support of contributors  who have the same common interests, and care about social improvement.

IOSI Global Projects are realized with the supportive help and grants from:

  • Private individuals
  • Members
  • Companies
  • Not-for-profit organizations

We do not request government support of any kind – it allows us to avoid falling into conflicts of interest, nepotism and political correctness.

OUR WHY:

  • We believe that common interests unite us, and make us stronger.
  • We believe in a paradigm change where you can choose to share intelligence that matters.
  • We believe in technological advancements joining the course of human development – a balanced society where shared intelligence and profit are cherished.

So, why are we building this new social platform in the era of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.?

We have established ourselves as a not-for-profit organization; by default, our drive is not making profit. On the other hand, the above-mentioned players, as well as others in the business of social media, are working to raise profit for their stakeholders. Indeed, that is their core focus. In this sense, they make compromises and use all information from contributors as well as users. We respect their business model; it is a business environment in the end.

We have decided to offer something unique which is not on the market, and the IOSI PLATFORM for members comes into play. Unfortunately, there has not been a secure tool for concerned citizens on how to cooperate; we are bringing it forward.

We do not store your data. We do not share your data. We do not sell your identity.

We do not accept advertising for such purposes.

We do not sell you products. We do not do business based on the user’s activity.

We care.

IOSI INSTRUMENT – Anonymous POST:

We cannot succeed without the active involvement of citizens IN BUILDING A BETTER SOCIETY. This applies to all of us – not just to people involved in politics, law enforcement or the field of law. We continue to face security threats even when they are not blatantly obvious. The consequences compromise and endanger all of us irrespective of our roles in society.

Here, IOSI comes into play. The IOSI PLATFORM for members strives to serve as a virtual safe space for all citizens involved in SECURITY AND INTELLIGENCE. Hence, our members can express themselves accordingly; our members can freely share their views and opinions. To offer a trustworthy and safe space, our platform allows our members to publish articles anonymously, if they so desire. In this way, issues related to any sort of criminal activity can be exposed confidently. It is important to emphasize that our organization, IOSI, neither censors nor spies;  harassment is not tolerated as per our platform rules (which can be found at https://www.iosi.global/platform-rules).

Fundamentally, our platform respects freedom of expression and the right of individuals to live in a secure society. Our team knows what it is like to be at the center of risk. The ability to post anonymously opens doors to victims as well as to other individuals caught up in the criminal world. Given the option to post anonymously, they can share sensitive and critical information that they would otherwise be unable to – due to realistic safety fears.

The purpose of posting anonymously is not, as it might seem, to break rules. The objective is to protect a level of freedom that is important to our community. Our professional experience has shown us that this danger is not unrealistic.

The Global Organization for Security and Intelligence – IOSI.
